Cross country: Marissa Williams, Steve Correa win City titles

Junior Marissa Williams of Palisades and senior Steve Correa of San Pedro won City Section individual cross country championships on Saturday at Pierce College.
Williams, who also won the girls’ race last year as a sophomore, won for the second year in a row, running 17:13.04. She helped Palisades win the team title by a single point over Granada Hills.
Correa took the boys’ title in 15:21.86 and San Pedro won the boys’ team title over second-place Santee.
