Football: Downey player in critical condition after collapsing

A Downey High football player was in critical condition Friday morning after collapsing during a non-varsity game on Thursday.
Authorities reported that Dodi Sanchez, a Downey running back, was not breathing after collapsing at a game vs. Lynwood High.
Students at Downey and neighborhood rival Warren have been offering support.
