Football: Former Loyola standout Anthony Barr is a hit in the NFL

Thank goodness former Loyola High standout Anthony Barr decided to switch from running back to linebacker at UCLA.
He’s a candidate for NFL defensive rookie of the year the way he’s playing for the Minnesota Vikings.
He was named the NFC defensive player of the week after a returning a fumble for a touchdown and getting eight tackles against Tampa Bay.
He was drafted No. 9 overall.
