Football: Sophomore Dymond Lee picks up Miami offer
- Share via
Sophomore receiver Dymond Lee of West Hills Chaminade has picked up a scholarship offer from Miami. He is the younger brother of running back Donovan Lee.
Dymond Lee has become the favorite target of Chaminade quarterback Brad Kaaya, a Miami commit. Lee caught seven passes for 102 yards on Friday night in a 46-43 win over Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.
“It was kind of unbelievable,” Lee said when Kaaya told him of the offer.
Lee was the starting quarterback for the freshman team last season and hadn’t played receiver until this season.
“I was really nervous coming in, because it was my first year playing receiver,” he said. “But everything has worked out.”
