Update: The Sparks started their season with an 80-69 win over Seattle on Friday night. On Sunday, they’ll face the team that knocked them out of the playoffs in the first round last year. The Sparks will meet a familiar foe in Phoenix Coach Sandy Brondello, who was an assistant with Los Angeles before being hired by the Mercury in November.
