Update: The Sparks were eliminated from the playoffs Tuesday after falling to San Antonio, 82-65. It will be the first time since 2007 and the fourth time in franchise history that the Sparks have failed to make the playoffs. The Sparks will finish the season Saturday against Chicago. Both the Shock and the Sky have been eliminated from the playoffs as well. The Shock will be playing without starting point guard Ivory Latta, who sustained a torn meniscus in her left knee that will require surgery. Latta was leading the Shock in scoring with 12.2 points a game while Tiffany Jackson averages 12.1.
