Sweet revenge?
Clippers Coach Doc Rivers, joking about why he signed Sasha Vujacic: “He made some shots against us when he was a Laker and I felt like if I could sign him and bench him and never play him again that that would be terrific for me.”
Clowning around
Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins, after Chicago’s Mike Dunleavy pushed him in the back on a fastbreak: “He’s a clown, and he’s scared. I wouldn’t even waste my time on him if I ever saw him outside of the gym. He’s a clown.”
He could also use a squirt gun
Dunleavy, responding to Cousins: “He called me a clown? I mean, I’d like to respond but clowns can’t talk. So [I can] mime or [give him] some animal balloons or something.”
Brotherly love
Zoran Dragic, brother of Phoenix Suns guard Goran Dragic, on his brother’s not being selected an All-Star: “We knew it was going to be tough because he is not Chinese. He is from Slovenia, a country of only two million people. He still has a chance to go to the All-Star [game] because there are some injured players.”
