Rex Ryan is making the most of his summer break.
The Buffalo Bills coach on Friday dropped in to the 2015 Thunder of Niagara Airshow from 12,500 feet above the ground, strapped to a member of the Army’s Golden Knights parachute team.
That’s right, Ryan went skydiving.
“I like living,” he said.
The Bills are a little less than two weeks away from the start of training camp and the NFL season won’t officially begin for 54 days -- and it’ll be three more beyond that before the Bills’ first regular-season game.
So what else could we expect the former New York Jets coach to do but jump from an airplane.
“Pretty much my normal morning,” Ryan said.
The Bills are set to play their first preseason game on Aug. 14 against the Carolina Panthers, and to take the field for their first meaningful game on Sept. 13, against the Indianapolis Colts.
Bills fans have to be hoping that Friday’s free fall will be the only one Ryan experiences this year, avoiding one in the standings during the regular season.
