UCLA football: Cassius Marsh ejected, could face disciplinary action

UCLA defensive end Cassius Marsh was ejected from the Bruins’ 37-10 victory over California on Saturday night and could face a Pac-12 Conference review.

In the second quarter, Marsh was called for offsides on back-to-back plays. After the second infraction, he was given an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty following a confrontation with a California player.

Coach Jim Mora said he did not get an explanation from referees.

Marsh said California players “were baiting” him, Mora said.

“I did not see it, but from what I understand there was a punch thrown,” Mora said. “I know the Pac-12 has a review system. We’ll see what they say.”
