USC freshman Adoree’ Jackson has found his groove.
Jackson played the first four games on offense, defense and special teams.
But his focus has since narrowed to cornerback and special teams, which he said has given him more confidence.
“I’m playing with a lot more swagger,” he said.
Against Utah, Jackson returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown and forced a fumble near the goal-line.
Jackson, who has nursed a hip-flexor injury, said he could eventually return to offense.
“I know the coaches want me to get in,” Jackson said. “But at the same time, it’s that I need to be on defense.”
