Members of the military who like to play golf will get a break on green fees and score free replays at more than 25 Marriott golf courses nationwide. The deal honoring servicemen and women was rolled out in time for Memorial Day and runs through Veteran’s Day.
The deal: Active, reserve and retired military members can take advantage of the Fairways Fore Freedom program. Here’s how it works: Play after 3 p.m. at a discounted rate and receive a voucher for a free replay. A valid military ID is required.
When: The offer is good now through Nov. 12 and based on availability.
Details: Shadow Ridge Golf Course and Desert Springs Golf Resort, both in Palm Desert, are participating in the program (no hotel stay required). At Shadow Ridge, a round of golf after 3 p.m. usually costs $55; military members pay $39 at this time of year and receive the replay voucher good until the end of the year.
Contact: Marriott Golf or individual golf courses.
