EARTHQUAKE: THE LONG ROAD BACK : Feeling the Aftershocks
- Share via
This chart shows Monday’s 6.6 earthquake compared to all the aftershocks, 3.0 magnitude and greater, from 4:30 a.m. Monday till 6:19 a.m. Thursday. A magnitude increase of one full point is equal to a tenfold increase in a quake’s power. The difference between the quake and the aftershocks is much greater than shown here. The scale has been adjusted in order to make the bars for the aftershocks visible.
